Solines supplies steel pipe piles because of supply problems with prefabricated concrete piles.

Several foundation companies are facing a shortage of prefabricated concrete piles.

Due to the surge in construction and the aftermath of the economic crisis, in which several producers of concrete piles went bankrupt, the remaining producers can no longer produce enough to meet the enormous demand on time.
This results in huge delays and therefore potentially high cost posts.

Fortunately, Solines always has the alternative in stock.

Several companies have already started looking for steel pipe piles, which are custom-made by Solines and fitted with a bell end and/or footplate.

Recently, Solines was again presented with a request where concrete piles were prescribed, but pipe piles were used due to delivery problems. For various housing projects, we were asked to supply steel pipes in various diameters, thicknesses and lengths;

Cut to size, fitted with a bell end and welded-on footplate

The pipes are sawn to size by us, fitted with a bell end and have a footplate welded on. The pipes are bundled and delivered directly to the job site on our own trailers. Thanks to the large stock and our own production facilities at Solines BV, all the pipe piles could be produced and delivered within the set delivery times. By using steel pipe piles, the customer’s work was not delayed.

Solines has more than 40,000 tonnes of steel pipes in stock in various diameters and wall thicknesses. Bell ends can be applied to pipes from Ø 168.3 mm up to Ø 508 mm. Cutting, welding to length and other modifications are of course also possible.
