41 foundation tubes for extension of residential care facility in Barendrecht

For the expansion of an existing residential care facility in Barendrecht, Solines BV supplied steel foundation tubes for a new pile foundation. The project concerns an extension to the care complex of Stichting De Overburen and is being carried out in an existing built environment, where controlled piling is required.

The execution of the pile foundation is handled by Vermeulen Heiwerken BV, an experienced contractor in foundation techniques, specialized in piling within complex environments. Within this project, Solines BV supplied the steel tubes for use as tubular piles.

In total, 41 steel tubular piles were delivered with a length of 19.5 meters. This includes 11 tubes with dimensions Ø 219 x 8 mm and 30 tubes with Ø 273 x 8 mm. The foundation tubes were produced according to the required specifications and meet the technical requirements of the pile foundation.

The steel tubes are used as tubular piles and are filled with concrete after driving. This results in a structurally strong and durable pile foundation with a high load-bearing capacity. Thanks to their consistent quality and dimensional accuracy, the tubes are immediately suitable for use in foundation projects in both new construction and existing environments.
