What is a seamless tube?
A seamless tube is a steel tube consisting of a single piece of steel. This type of pipe is made in the factory in a furnace with a rotary drill. The size of this drill therefore determines the diameter of the seamless steel tube. The advantage of a seamless pipe is that it has no weak points. With longitudinally or spirally welded pipes, the weak point is always the weld seam, which is not an issue with a seamless tube.

Solines also stocks seamless tubes (precision tubes). Both thick-walled hot-rolled seamless steel tubes and cold-formed precision tubes are part of our stock. Solines has a constant stock of hot-rolled seamless tubes. A seamless pipe is available in sizes from Ø 10.0 mm to 508.0 mm. Cold-formed steel tubes are in stock in diameters from Ø 10 to Ø 130 mm

Customisation of hot-rolled seamless pipes
You can have seamless steel pipes cut to any length, burnt or welded to length. With Solines Welding & Construction, we carry out the most common welding tasks. Among other things, we are able to lengthen round steel tubes by means of round seams, welding on drilling points, welding to length and placing spray lances, attaching (welding) flanges, welding foot plates, attaching sheet piling and much more! Feel free to ask about our possibilities. With our modern sawing machine, we can cut gas pipes and precision pipes to size in large numbers and to precise tolerances. On this sawing machine, we can cut up to a diameter of 800 mm.
