Solar park foundation in Bergambacht built with steel tubes from Solines

Solines supplied 1,152 meters of steel tubes to SNL Schroefpalen for the foundation of a solar park in Bergambacht. Using this material, 576 screw piles were installed to provide a stable foundation for the solar panel installation. The tubes have a diameter of Ø 88.9 millimeters and a wall thickness of 3.00 millimeters.

SNL Schroefpalen welded helical blades with an outer diameter of 350 millimeters to the tubes and had them hot-dip galvanized to ensure maximum corrosion resistance. The result is a durable foundation that is quick to install and suitable for a wide range of soil types. The project in Bergambacht demonstrates the practical effectiveness of this construction method.
