Flowers for Jovanka
For 12.5 years, Jovanka Savanović has been ensuring a clean interior for us in Moerdijk. That’s a good reason for branch manager Luuk den Besten to put her in the spotlight.
Own boss
We asked her how she has experienced those 12.5 years. ‘Brilliant, I really can’t say anything else. People here are always very kind and friendly to me. And I’m my own boss. I’ve always had a great time here. Otherwise, you don’t stay around that long, of course.’ She has seen the company grow considerably during that time. ‘Pieter (owner Pieter Verweij) brought me in. I worked at Vervat then, and he had seen me working there. In those early days, we were here with only five of us at the office. Three inside, two outside. Now there are four times as many employees around here.’
Holidays
In addition to a beautiful bouquet of flowers, Jovanka received a check. ‘Wonderful, I can enjoy that during my holiday.’
