152 metres of coated steel pipes for marina
For the placement of a mobile scaffolding, eight pipes had to be preserved all around over a length of 7.5 metres with a DTM (Direct To Metal) coating. The customer opted for black pipes (Ral 9017) with blue (Ral 5015) for the top 1.2 metres. For the best durability and impact resistance, the pipes were provided with 3 layers of Sigmacover. The pipes were sawn to size and welded to a length of 19 metres each.
Customization in mooring posts
Solines offers customization in mooring posts. Pipe piles from a diameter of 168 mm to a diameter of 610 mm with 25 mm wall thickness are very suitable for use as steel mooring posts and can be delivered from stock. Solines can weld your pipes up to a length of 36 metres. If required, we can weld directly provided bollards to the pipe.
