Low-vibration foundation with screw injection piles in Groenekan

A recent home extension in Groenekan was equipped with a low-vibration foundation. Solines supplied the steel foundation piles, which were installed by Ras Heiwerken. Screw injection piles (SIP) (Ø 88.9 x 10.00 millimeters, conical tip) were drilled into the ground to a depth of approximately 15 meters, where a load-bearing soil layer was reached.

By drilling the piles instead of using traditional pile driving methods, disturbance to the surrounding area is minimized and the risk of damage to nearby buildings is significantly reduced. This method also allows for precise and controlled installation, which is essential for a stable and reliable foundation—especially in existing construction environments.

Steel foundation piles such as screw injection piles provide a durable solution with high load-bearing capacity, making them suitable for long-term structural loads and further construction.

This foundation technique is widely used for extensions, renovations, and projects in urban areas where low-vibration installation is required. The project in Groenekan demonstrates how a solid and reliable foundation can be achieved efficiently, with minimal impact on the surroundings.
