This week, Solines BV in Moerdijk is featuring an interesting lot. It consists of more than 24 kilometers of galvanized steel tubes Ø 60.3 x 2.90 millimeters in steel grade S195T in accordance with EN 10255, with a total weight of nearly 135 metric tons. The tubes have a standard length of 6,000 millimeters, are packaged in bundles of 37 tubes, and are available for immediate delivery from Solines BV stock.
The galvanized finish makes these tubes suitable for applications in which steel is exposed to moisture, outdoor conditions, or changing weather. The zinc layer shields the underlying steel from moisture and oxygen, thereby slowing corrosion and rust formation. The galvanized steel tubes Ø 60.3 x 2.90 millimeters are commonly used for fencing, barriers, balustrades, handrails, livestock housing, greenhouse structures, light non-load-bearing structures, and industrial applications throughout construction, agriculture, horticulture, civil engineering, and infrastructure.
When the standard length of 6,000 millimeters does not meet the project requirements, Solines Welding & Construction can cut the galvanized tubes Ø 60.3 x 2.90 millimeters to the required length. Cutting tubes to length from stock is particularly useful when custom lengths are needed quickly. For larger project-specific orders, Solines may also be able to arrange production or delivery in a non-standard mill length.
