Solines BV in Moerdijk is featuring a new stock lot this week. In summary, the lot comprises more than 1,800 meters of longitudinally welded steel tubes measuring Ø 559.0 x 9.00 millimeters (outside diameter x wall thickness) in steel grade P355N. The tubes have standard lengths of approximately 12,000 millimeters, a total weight exceeding 225 metric tons, and are available from Solines BV stock for immediate delivery.
Based on their dimensions and P355N steel grade, these structural tubes can be evaluated for project-specific use as pile tubes, steel foundation piles, and foundation tubes, as well as casing or sleeve tubes for foundation work, steel columns in load-bearing and industrial steel structures, and tubular struts in temporary support structures. In civil engineering, infrastructure, and marine construction, potential uses also include guide structures, fender systems, and other marine structures. Final suitability depends on design loads, soil conditions, installation methods, corrosion exposure, connections, and available material certificates.
Solines Welding & Construction can cut the tubes to length using band saws suitable for diameters up to approximately Ø 820 millimeters. The tubes can also be extended using circumferential welds, prepared with a weld bevel, and fitted with base plates, bottom plates, flanges, drill tips, drill heads, fabricated end points, or structural plates. Solines can weld tubes up to Ø 1,420 millimeters and supply assembled lengths up to 40,000 millimeters. All welding is performed by experienced welders, enabling Solines to provide complete custom-fabricated solutions for steel construction, civil engineering, and foundation engineering.
