More than 70 metric tons of steel tubes Ø 610.0 x 7.90 millimeters – S355J2H
This week, Solines BV in Moerdijk is featuring an interesting new lot. It consists of more than 600 meters of longitudinally welded steel tubes Ø 610.0 x 7.90 millimeters in steel grade S355J2H in accordance with EN 10219. The tubes have a standard length of 12,000 millimeters and a total weight of more than 70 metric tons. This complete lot of structural tubes is available from stock for immediate project-specific supply and further fabrication.
Steel tubes in size Ø 610.0 x 7.90 millimeters may be considered for project-specific use as foundation tubes, pile tubes, structural tubes, casing tubes, or protective sleeve structures in civil engineering and infrastructure. They may also serve as strut tubes, braces, steel columns, or components of load-bearing industrial steel structures when confirmed by structural calculations. For pile driving and marine construction applications, including guide structures and fender systems, loads, local stability, connections, installation methods, and corrosion allowance must be assessed separately. Technical suitability must therefore be established in advance for each project.
Through Solines Welding & Construction, the steel tubes Ø 610.0 x 7.90 millimeters can be fabricated to project-specific requirements. They can be cut to length, extended using circumferential welds, and supplied with beveled ends. Based on project drawings, foot plates, bottom plates, flanges, drill points, drill heads, custom-fabricated points, and structural plates can be attached. All welding is performed by experienced, certified welders.
