Over 300 tons of steel tubes Ø 610,0 x 14,30 millimeters (longitudinally welded)
This week, Solines BV in Moerdijk has a new batch of steel tubes available. These are longitudinally welded steel tubes Ø 610,0 x 14,30 millimeters in steel grade X65 according to EN10219, with a total length of more than 1,400 meters and a total weight exceeding 300 tons. These heavy structural and foundation tubes are available directly from stock and are suitable for applications in civil engineering, infrastructure, and steel structures.
Due to the combination of a Ø 610,0 millimeter diameter and a wall thickness of 14,30 millimeters, these tubes are primarily suitable as pile tubes and foundation tubes within foundation engineering. They are also commonly used as casing tubes in foundation works. In marine construction, these tubes are applied in guide structures and fender systems. Within civil engineering, infrastructure, and industrial construction, these structural tubes can also function as strut tubes and, depending on the design, as load-bearing elements in steel structures.
Solines Welding & Construction can process these tubes fully in accordance with project requirements. The tubes can be cut, welded, flared (tromped), and beveled. Additional components can be attached, including base plates, end plates, flanges, drill points, drilling heads, pile tips, and structural plates. All welding is carried out by experienced and certified welders, enabling Solines to deliver complete custom solutions for projects in steel construction, civil engineering, infrastructure, and foundation engineering.
