148 tons of steel tubes Ø 508.0 × 15.00 mm – Steel grades X52 and X70

This week, Solines has a batch of steel tubes Ø 508.0 × 15.00 mm in stock at our Moerdijk yard. These longitudinally welded tubes are made from high-grade X52 and X70 steel. The total batch weighs 148 tons, representing more than 800 metres of tubing. The tubes are available in various lengths and are ready for immediate delivery from stock.

Tubes of this size are widely used in foundation work, heavy steel structures and maritime projects. Thanks to their high strength and thick wall, they are ideal as foundation piles, structural tubes or support tubes for bridges, quay walls, sheet piles, jetties and industrial installations. In geotechnical applications, they are often used as casing tubes or protective sleeves around bored or injection piles, providing additional stability and durability. These tubes are also suitable for harbour works and offshore structures, for example as load-bearing tubes or as part of pontoons and wind turbine foundations.

Through Solines Welding & Construction, these tubes can be fully customised to your specifications. They can be cut to length, welded, or fitted with a base plate, flange, drill point or footplate. All welding work is carried out by certified welders according to the highest quality standards.
